JacquesWHAT IS IT? DO I NEED IT? HOW DO I GET IT?
by Jacques Luben, Editor Inc. Plan Business Review

"THE REGISTERED AGENT"...legally required to start and maintain your business entity.

Here's a brief working definition of this term:

"The Registered Agent is the statutory office mandated by law in all states that serves as the point of contact between the Secretary of State and the Corporation. If the Corporation has any legal business with a Private or Government entity, the Registered Agent receives service of process. Failure to maintain a Registered Office nullifies the company's 'Good Standing' with the state."

During the course of creating (and maintaining) companies for our clients, Inc. Plan (USA) is often called upon to provide Registered Agent service in all 50 U. S. states. Naturally, we are pleased to act on behalf of these companies so that they can remain in compliance with the laws of their respective jurisdictions.

In some cases, we are able to save our clients a significant amount of money by designating them as the Registered Agent for their own companies.
